Thorhild County No. 7, Alberta
Thorhild County is a municipal district located in the central part of northern Alberta, Canada in Census Division 13. It was incorporated in 1955. It changed its name from the County of Thorhild No. 17 to Thorhild County on March 20, 2013.[3]
The administrative offices of Thorhild County are in the Hamlet of Thorhild.

Demographics
In the 2011 Census, Thorhild County had a population of 3,417 living in 1,458 of its 1,807 total dwellings, a -3.7% change from its 2006 adjusted population of 3,547. With a land area of 2,000.05 km2 (772.22 sq mi), it had a population density of 1.70846/km2 (4.4249/sq mi) in 2011.[2]
In 2006, Thorhild County had a population of 3,042 living in 1,510 dwellings, a 2.5% decrease from 2001. The countyhas a land area of 1,998.38 km2 (771.58 sq mi) and a population density of 1.5 /km2 (3.9 /sq mi).[4]
As of 2001, 3,120 people were living in 1,515 dwellings, a 1.4% increase in population since 1996. With a land area of 1,997.97 km², Beaver county had a population density of 1.6 /km².[5]
