Postal code of China

2-digit postcode areas China(defined through the first two postcode digits)

Postal codes (邮政编码 or 邮编) in the People's Republic of China are a numeric six-digit system for the whole country.

The first two digits show the province, province-equivalent municipality, or autonomous region; the third digit the postal zone; the fourth digit the prefectures or prefecture-level city; the last two digits the delivery post office.

Hong Kong and Macau, which have their own postal systems, have Chinese postcodes.[1][2] However, they are not widely used.
