Podocarpus alpinus is a species of conifer in the Podocarpaceae family. It is a shrub about 2-2.5 m tall (6.5-8 ft). It is found only in Australia (New South Wales, Victoria, and Tasmania).

Cultivation and uses

It has tolerated to about -25°C (-13°F) in the British Islands, lower temperatures than all ever recorded in its natural habitat. It needs heavy rainfalls. Slow-growing plant.
