Northern Italy (Italia Settentrionale, Italia del Nord, Alta Italia, Norditalia or just Nord) comprises two areas belonging to Italy:
- North-West (Nord-Ovest): Aosta Valley, Piedmont, Lombardy, Liguria;
- North-East (Nord-Est): Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Veneto, Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, Emilia-Romagna.
Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol and Aosta Valley are regions with a special statute.
