Moggio Udinese

Moggio Udinese (Friulian: Mueç, Slovene: Možnica) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 100 km northwest of Trieste and about 40 km north of Udine, on the border with Austria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,991 and an area of 143.5 km².[1]

The municipality of Moggio Udinese contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Bevorchians, Campiolo, Dordolla, Grauzaria, Moggessa, Monticello, Ovedasso, Pradis-Chiaranda, and Stavoli.

Moggio Udinese borders the following municipalities: Amaro, Arta Terme, Chiusaforte, Dogna, Hermagor-Pressegger See (Austria), Paularo, Pontebba, Resiutta, Tolmezzo, Venzone.
