History
Beecroft station was opened on 17 September 1886.[1] The original Beecroft station was located further south of the existing platform, approximately adjacent to the Beecroft tennis courts. The disused down platform was demolished in the early 1990s.
Beecroft station in its existing location was opened on 7 March 1892. A disused dock platform for produce is located opposite the down platform.
Currently, the station is accessed via an underpass and staircase - thus no Easy Access for wheelchairs. The ticket office used to be located in the underpass at the foot of the staircase, but was relocated onto the platform.
